Race(s) 1

It was a busy afternoon today with both David and Mike racing.

First up David was in the first of three MG Trophy races this weekend. With the track almost dry but it drizzling He got a great start off the Iine however was held up into Paddock Hill bend by David Williams. He then needed to take drastic action in the corner when Andrew Gordon-Colebrooke spun and took out Sarah Budby. This brought out the safety car while the cars were rescued.

Once the race got going properly he persevered in greasy conditions to finish 14th, his best MG Trophy result to date. The only disappointing thing being that the camera turned itself off so there’s no video to watch.

Mike’s race was a little more straightforward. He started 16th and got a slightly disappointing start and dropped a few places. He then spent the majority of the race by himself and brought the Midget home to 17th with it starting to overheat slightly at the end.

We’ve got 2 more races for David tomorrow and another one for Mike so will be posting more updates then!
