Coming through the field at Silverstone

This weekend Mike was out racing his Ford Anglia 105E in the Historic Touring Car Championship as part of the Silverstone International Trophy race meeting.

There was a large field for the race, with 47 drivers taking to the F1 track. Mike hasn’t race on the full F1 track since it changed a couple of years ago so did well to qualify 31st. However he came alive in the race to move up to 20th overall – by far and away his best race yet we think having spent every lap dicing (and generally winning) against other cars.

Our next outing should be at Silverstone again in about a month at the MGCC meeting, but we’ll have more details nearer the time.
