Race 3

Mike unfortunately didn’t take part in the 2nd Ecurie GTS race after we decided not to risk racing the Midget after it started to overheat in race 1.

This left David (above) as the last CSA Sport representative to take to the track this weekend. With the track somehow wetter than the morning race David got another good start and was dicing with some ZRs over the first few laps. In treacherous conditions he then brought the car home in 14th to complete a successful weekend. It was also not bad to come back scratch and dent free considering that four MG Trophy cars had been written off over the course of the weekend.

That’s it for the MG Trophy until the Silverstone MG Live meeting in late June. We’ll post our plans for that in the next few weeks.

We’ll also post video and photos from the weekend tomorrow.
