A better afternoon

After about 5 hours of waiting, Race 2 was a lot more straight forward for Marc. (unfortunately David and Mike both had to sit the race out due to their car issues being impossible to solve at the track)

Marc got a good start, but going into Druids got stuck behind a car that had made a mistake and got overtaken. He then drove a solid, if somewhat lonely, race to finish 16th.

Marc then received two trophies in the prize giving, actually engraved photo frames, at the end of the day for his two class victories. In his brief speech Marc said that he’d probably get a frosty reception for beating David again, at which point David heckled that he’d be walking home! (it got a good laugh from the crowd)

We now face a race against time- excuse the pun- to get the number 65 car ready for the Goodwood Sprint in 2 weeks so we’ll be flat out on that.

We’d also like to thank the MGF Register guys, especially Paul and Adrian, for all of their help yesterday, it was greatly appreciated!

Photos and videos will hopefully follow shortly!
