Brands Hatch testing

It’s been a busy few days so apologies for being slow with the updates!

Overall the Brands Hath test was really successful. Firstly the weather was beautiful meaning that we were able to rack up a good amount of mileage on both the 65 and 95. Marc (having never driven round Brands before), Mike and David were all driving and all tried both cars to enable us to compare and contrast. There were a couple of hickups – including when Mike spun off and ripped the front bumper off in the gravel at Paddock Hill bend, but by the end of the penultimate session both Mike and David were convinced that the 95 was the slightly quicker car. By that point both cars, regardless of the driver, were in the 1.02s.

However in the final session Marc managed a 59.4 in the 65 and David did a 1.00 in the 95- some very respectable times! So we’re pleased with where we’re at but still haven’t decided who’ll drive what in a week in a half in the first round of the MG Trophy. Here’s some photos:

We will hopefully also be uploading some videos later in the week.

As well as all of this Marc completed his first 10k run last Saturday in a respectable 50 minutes 15 seconds – which he was also pretty pleased with!
