Snetterton last weekend

Last weekend saw the final rounds of the MG Trophy 2010 season at Snetterton.

After suffering more mechanical issues in the morning (related to the VVC) in qualifying David managed to qualify 14th out 15- not bad considering he could only pull around 5,600 rpm down the straights! After spending the next couple of hours trying to fix the issue the problem was sorted in time for the race.

This was a much more productive race where his fastest lap was 7 seconds quicker than qualifying due to the issues being fixed. After dicing with some of the class C cars initally he ended up finishing 15th.

This meant that in his first full season, David ended up 15th in the championship out of 31 entries – a really great effort. He was also the top car in class D. Marc ended up finishing 24th after his cameo appearance earlier in the year at Silverstone. Full standings can be found here.

We’d like to thank everyone’s supporting in the first full season including the wives, girlfriends and MG Register.
