Brands Hatch Super Prix

Yesterday was Mike’s turn to hit the track once again with his Ford Anglia in the HSCC Brands Hatch Super Prix. This was on the GP circuit meaning Mike has raced on two of the UK’s top tracks in two months.

He qualifed a respectable 21st out 30, not bad considering he had only raced on the Brands Hatch Indy circuit previous. Unfortunately that was the only good news of the day.

After getting a decent start the car broke down half way round the first lap. After closer inspection it was a lead that had worked its way loose cutting the electics, once reattached the car was working fine but it was too late! So it was a great shame after all the effort that’s been put into the Anglia recently.

We’ll post the short video of his race in the coming days.

This was our last race until the next MG Trophy round at Cadwell Park in early September, but we’ve still got lots to keep us busy as we’re continuing to fix the no. 65 MGF.
