Silverstone Qualifying and Race 1

Just a quick post after a long day at Silverstone.

It was a eventful day with David qualifying 41st and Marc 42nd less than half a second behind. That was definitely better than the car that ended upside down in the gravel trap!

There were 46 cars taking part with the MG Trophy running together with the MGOC championship so there was also lots of incidents in the race.

Unfortunately after a good start David was taken off early on which forced him into a spin. By the time he had recovered to continue he was about 30 seconds behind the field and eventually finished 35th. This left Marc to finish 34th picking up the class D victory and fastest lap in his first race!

We’ve also got onboard videos from Marc’s car that we’ll look to put up in the next day or so!

More tomorrow, after some sleep!
